How would your friends describe you in a couple of words?
Friendly, creative, kind.

If you could be a crayon, what colour would you be?
Definitely orange!

What do you spend your time on?
I am always working on a personal creative project. I love making books, card games, taking photos, anything really! Engaging in creative activities means I am always looking for inspiration in everything I do. I want to bring a creative lens to see the beauty and expression which is always around me.

Where is your favourite place in the Waikato?
It's hard to pick a favourite. Any place in Hamilton where I can walk in nature makes me very happy!

Who inspires you?
I am inspired by my family and friends. Each of them are doing amazing things which are important to them. I feel honoured to be part of their stories and follow their journey!

What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
As a kid, I was very shy. In my first week of school - when I was 5 years old, I had trouble finding the courage to make my first friend. One day I saw another kid my age who was also sitting by herself. I knew I had to talk to her, but I was so scared! I introduced myself and we had an instant connection. She is still my best friend to this day! It is the most courageous and best thing I've ever done.

What is your latest learning?
Learn to enjoy the journey. There will always be another goal, there will also always be another celebration.

What inspired you to join Seed Waikato?

Seed is a passionate, welcoming, and committed organization which shares my value for education as a means to empowerment. I am inspired by Seed to meet new people, expand my kete of learning, and give back to my local community.

What’s the best thing you bring to Seed Waikato?
I am a creative storyteller at heart. A writer, a graphic designer, a listener, and a reader. I am passionate about sharing the stories of Seed Waikato and our communities to create meaningful connections, share information, and thrive together.

What does Seed Waikato mean to you?
Seed Waikato is a place where business, community organizations, and young people can come together to advocate for a better Waikato. For me it is a place of inspiration. It is a bustling organization which is always working on something very cool!

What is a highlight of being involved in Seed Waikato?
Being involved in a community of people who are passionate about social good and actively finding ways to empower others is an amazing kaupapa to be involved in! I love that no two days are the same, I am always exercising my creative brain and looking for new ways of tackling problems.
