Finding the time to have your say can be very draining, so we invited people to join us on zoom for a productive hour of body-doubling as we wrote our submissions.

This month's lead, Kai, helped us explore the thread connecting our inner narratives to the communities and systems we are part of. This was not simply a session we listened to over lunch...something new was planted here. ✨

Our community came together to break bread, sip soup, learn together, and dive deep into meaningful systems-change koorero. We even had the privilege of hosting Justin Connolly and Jennifer Nickel in a post-movie discussion panel afterwards!

April’s webinar saw us joined by Tom Johnson, who talked about their work Te Ruru, a place-based systems change framework we have had buzzing around our heads since our team heard them speak at Complex Systems Symposium in Te Whānganui a-Tara!

From WEAll Aotearoa presented An Economic System for the Public Good! This webinar kauapapa challenged us to flip the script and move from people and planet in service to the economy to an economy in service to people and te taio.

Leaders gathered to move the building blocks in place for 2026.  With a vision to weave together a flourishing youth sector, we have handpicked proactive leaders from across the breadth of youth-facing sectors; from housing to health, education to employment and beyond.

Community Orgs gathered together for a fun and sun filled day of activities, ranging from competitive frizbee, to netball, to egg-and-spoon balancing!

Together, community leaders and change-makers from every corner the Kirikiriroa community sector worked side by side to dreamscape our creative visions for a collaborative future! This creative collaboration hui was co-facilitated by Holly from Community Waikato.

A holistic approach to becoming fully alive in an era of change: we weave interactive community practices, ritual, nature connection, deep ecology and personal reflection to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters.

Hosted by Hapori, in partnership with Digital Storytellers, Seeds for Change and Hive 11, this program prepared participants to support others to FIND, MAKE, EDIT & SHARE impactful stories that support projects, causes, and organizations.

The Te Aka Matua YSC aims to weave a flourishing Waikato youth sector together. By strengthening our connections and fostering collaboration between services, we improve rangatahi outcomes!
