Co-Head of Events
Every movement needs an organiser who makes things happen. For us that’s Chloe Bell. Chloe is an ever logical and passionate member of our events team. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with. Want to know more about what goes on in Chloe’s brain? We sat her down for an interview to get some learnings from this driven young waahine.
Who inpires you?
My parents. They are the hardest working people I know and admire their resilience.
Where is your favourite place in the Waikato?
Waiere Falls. In a job that means I am stuck inside all day I love any opportunity to get outdoors. We are so lucky to have so many beautiful spots in the Waikato, I love just sitting at the top of Waiere falls, enjoying the sunshine, the quiet and admiring the beauty.
What’s the best thing you bring to Seed?
The passion I have for what Seed Waikato does, means I bring all of my determination and passion to Seed Waikato. I am very enthusiastic and positive person and put my all in Seed Waikato.
What do you spend your time on?
I spend the majority of my time at work as a Commercial Account Manager for ASB, which I absolutely love. When I'm not at work I am either doing Seed Waikato stuff or just spending time with my friends and family.
What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Went to work with a chemically burnt moustache haha. Definitely wasn't fun explaining to office full of men how it happened.
What’s the coolest thing you’re doing right now?
Has to be Seed Waikato, having something I am passionate about outside of work is a change for me. I whole heartedly believe in what Seed Waikato are all about and as a bonus I get to meet some pretty awesome people.
What colour crayon would you be?
Typical me taking a logical approach to everything, I actually did some research on this. I have been told by my colleagues that I would orange. Because it combines Yellow and Red together. I am a very cheerful and energetic person but I am also a very determined and passionate person.
What inspired you to join Seed Waikato?
I have been coming to Seed Waikato events since their second ever event and absolutely loved it. I have witnessed first hand the difference Seed Waikato has made to peoples lives. I wanted to be a part of making those life changing events happen, even if I could help make a difference it just one person’s life, it would be worth it.
What does Seed Waikato mean to you?
Seed Waikato means making the Waikato and Hamilton somewhere everyone is proud to call home. It means making the Waikato a place where millennials can grow and succeed. Everyone has the potential to do amazing things, sometimes we just need a little help to realise it.
