I want to be a part of making life changing events happen, even if I could help make a difference it just one person’s life, it would be worth it.
As a society, we are in desperate need of radical change and Seed Waikato is a part of that movement disrupting the status quo, striving towards improving the lives of the youth in our community. I joined to be involved in that movement!
Seed Waikato gives me a sense of belonging and satisfaction to be part of a group of young people making changes for young people.
Chantelle loves any community initiatives and events that bring people together to collaborate and grow, build networks of support, and be inspired by others, and believes the possibilities within this are endless.
I believe with my whole heart that young people have the power to create a better future for all of us.
I’m a glass half full kinda gal, always celebrate the small wins, spontaneous.. sometimes impulsive (eek) and like to think I’m the life of the party (big call). If that doesn’t scream Britt, I dunno what does.
Maryana is a firm believer in the power of storytelling. She aims to help young people own, craft and share their stories.
At its core, Seed Waikato is here for the people, and that really resonates with me and my values.
Kendyl is passionate about the learning and development of young people
Gemma is incredibly passionate about the potential young people have to create global impact, and as someone who experiences bipolar, anxiety and psychosis, is also very aware of the challenges young people face around mental health and addiction.
I am ready to shout from the rooftops about just how great a place the Waikato is to be!
