How can you turn a place of darkness into a foundation to rebuild your life from?

No one wants to hit rock bottom, but it’s a place we all find ourselves from time to time. What matters most is how we pick ourselves back up, how we pull ourselves out from the shadows, and how we learn from the experience as we move forward.

This event brings together leaders to hear them like you never have before. We’ll listen to their war stories, and learn how they used their rock bottom as a springboard in disguise.

If you're a tradie, creative, entrepreneur, professional, student, parent, volunteer, freelancer or anything in between, our events are a place for you to connect with new people, find inspiration, and learn something new.

Rogena is a intersex person and advocate. She has Studied a BA in Linguistics and then taught English both here and in South Korea. After returning, she set up and managed an English Language School. After that, Rogena studied an LLB, LLM, and PhD in law focusing on (intersex) identity and human rights. She has taught at University, written academic publications and presented at numerous conferences. Her key passions include supporting and advocating for social justice issues. I have fought for intersex being counted in the census. To relax, they love gardening and going camping.
