The Young Workers Resource Centre exists to empower young people to have positive employment experiences, to be protected in their workplaces from exploitation, and to understand how to address workplace conflicts and cultivate positive employment relationships.
We promote, develop and provide quality education, information and resources that enhance well-being, empowerment, positive change, and understanding for young workers in regard to their workplace and employment issues.
WHAT WE DO
We facilitate employment workshops at secondary schools, tertiary providers, and community organisations focusing on educating young people about the employment rights. We also provide free employment advocacy to young workers for any work-related issues, and act as a spokes-group for employment matters affecting young people.
