I can see your light. You shine. But can you? Explore that. Where is it hiding?
One of the most common questions I have been getting back from podcast guests and followers on my Instagram has been around: “what is my daily process when it comes to journalling?” Like Blogging or podcasting, the short answer is just to start. However like most things first off; the ‘Why’ followed by ‘Where’ and ‘How’ are key points to execution.
Sometimes you need to take the journey from your head into your heart and just feel - the layers, and layers, and layers of feelings. Not just the surface level - not just the ones you have words for, but the deeper emotion, the ones that are hidden that you aren’t able to explain. Sometimes you need to exist in the messy space of feeling all of those things, but not try to understand them just yet. The barista at Coffee Culture reminded me of that.
We’re back! The Seed Waikato Bloggers are excited to be writing again. To get the year started, some of us are reintroducing ourselves, and sharing our hopes and resolutions for 2019 with you.
From all the Seed Waikato Blogging Team, this is our Christmas Card to you. Thank you for reading. We’ll see you in 2019.
Recognize the circumstances you were situated in when you were forming - the patterns, responses, ways of existing that you need to unlearn to show you that there is more to life. You are worth taking the time to begin to understand the patterns. You are worth doing the work to slowly, delicately, rewire them with grace, and you are more than them. There is so much more out there.
It’s risky, rewriting your story. You've been living according to it. This is all you know. But the unknown is worth seeking - it is a place of someone returning, of mutual healing, of security. A place of knowing that your wounds are worth loving.
I'm a twenty something that is made for deep connection and embracing the messiness of life. Through words, I want to wake up others to do the same. I often think of life in seasons. Seasons of letting go, of embracing the mess that is life, of chasing after things, of rest. Seasons of being really human.
Kia Ora! it has been a while since I have typed out one of these blogs and as you can see its because I've had a bit on. Since my last post I have had the birth of my daughter, changed jobs and moved twice; once to Alex's parents, and second to Australia.
This is a blog post about blogging. Why write it? Because it's true.
2018 is here! And with it comes a whole new year of inspirational blogging.
